Touch me Softly
Directors – Gaia Pulliero
(Italy)
Duration – 1:46
A girl thinks about what she loves the most, but in the meantime something happens and she realizes what true love should be. Touch Me Softly is a project born from a University lab in which the teacher asked us to make a short film of maximum 2 minutes that dealt with the biographical theme of “the things I prefer”. At that time in my country there were stringent restrictions due to Covid so I decided to produce the short independently with the only help of my mobile phone, the furniture in my living room, my voice and my body. However, since the theme did not fully satisfy me, I decided to try to develop a work that also had a social impact that would be useful to those who would have watched it. Thus was born “Touch Me Softly”, a short film that deals with the theme of violence “in” genre and not only “gender-based violence”.
