Within Giffoni Macedonia we will proudly host the traveling classroom Una vita da social, which for 7 years and counting has set up educational meetings with kids, students, teachers and parents across Italy. The classroom is a part of the EU funded project “Connected Generations” – Safe Internet Center, coordinated by the Italian Ministry of Education and Science and carried out by experts from the Unit for communication security within the Italian Police.
The project is supported by the Italian Embassy in Skopje and by the Ministry for Internal Affairs of Republic of North Macedonia. A smooth realization of the educational activities will be guaranteed by the Police Headquarters of Skopje, as well as by our partners The City of Skopje, The Municipality of Karposh, The Municipality of Centar, The Ministry of Education and Science of RNM and other institutions and private partners.
During the six days in Skopje, from the 12th to the 17th of October, the travelling classroom Una vita da social – Life on social media will set up on few locations throughout the city. The Italian experts will hold interactive educational meetings with students form elementary schools, teachers and parents, aimed to raise awareness on the responsible use of social networks and against cyber bullying. This is only possible by getting to know the most insidious traps of internet and social media and the ways to prevent abuse.
