The Danish film "Checkered Ninja" will be screened at the Cinematheque of Macedonia on April 23, synchronized in Macedonian at a screening of the film from 10 am, and at 12 noon - in Albanian. The film is intended for audiences over six years.
The film is based on a book by Danish comedian Anders Mathesen, who also co-directed the film with Thorbjorn Christoffersen. The film was selected in the children's program of the Berlin Film Festival 2018, and broke records in cinemas across Denmark. "Plaid Ninja" is the winner of the "Robert" Award from the Danish Film Academy for Best Film for Children and Youth, as well as the award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
The Giffoni Film Days are held with the financial support of European Union, Europe House Skopje, the Film Agency of Northern Macedonia and in cooperation with the Cinematheque of Northern Macedonia, the Italian Embassy in Skopje and the Giffoni Film Festival from Italy.
